History
Vulcal – Vulcanizações e Lubrificantes, S.A. is located at the IC2 road Pombal's south entry and has initiated business activity in January of 1984.
With more than three decades of experience in the tire and oil business, the company was dedicated to car tire selling, alignment and calibration.
However, due to markets changes, Vulcal quickly began to expand business activities, specializing in the rebuilding and selling of tires for trucks, industrial and OTR (off-the-road) tires for mines, quarries and earthmoving. We have the largest european stocks of new, used and rebuilt tires for heavy machinery.
The constant focus on innovation and profound market knowledge took Vulcal to make big investments in the quality of services provided to all customers worldwide. Vulcal provides a unique service (at european level) – the on site technical assistance service, available 24 hours every day. Our company technicians and fully equipped service trucks can provide on site technical support to mines or quarries, minimizing costs and saving time.
Vulcal began the internationalization process back in 2005. With offices in Brazil, Cuba, Peru and the Dominican Republic, we're specialized in equipments, parts and tires for the mining, quarrying, building and earthmoving industries.
